Milan fashion week - Prada :O

I not always prada's biggest fan but i really like the new spring/summer collection. The colours and divine , they are bright but they are dark all at the same time ( if thats even possible). The patterns are so imagantive. I get the feeling that they were inspired by monkeys which is so creative. I mean a bannana patterned hawian shirt and monkeys linked together. I personally love it and would be proud to wear bannanas ( not that i could ever afford it) I even weirdly like the shoes . They have different coloured platforms.

Look how the colours shouldnt go together but they do and even BETTER , their are little effiel towers in each pannel. Its just so beautiful. The lenght is amazing too its classy and quirky and inspired by the 1950's and this is why i want this dress more than i want another cat ( which is a lot)

Practical fashion ( well not really -its just in the name "harness"

I am in love with this very expensive belt. It really does fascinate me. Mostly becuase topshop are the creators of this wonder - not a high fashion designer but TOPSHOP..... However it comes with  a higher than high street price tag of £40. It may not seem that much but when you think what else you can buy for this amount. However on the plus it is kind of ........ Three belts in one and would save hire costs if you decided to go rock climbing ( oh who am i kidding) ......

Another con , is that it looks a tad gimpish ecspecialy seeing as im a huge fan of leather - skirts , trousers , shorts and own more than one of each of these items of clothing , i dont feel the two would go together and as i am not a massive fan of florals ......... i dont feel that it would go best with my wardrobe ....

BUT I DO LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ( getting thumb cramp here) LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!!!!!

I hate Virgin media even more now

Look what they did .....  I was going to order this beautiful poncho top . But then the evil internet decided to sleep for a little bit  ( loose connection) , meaning that i had to delay this purchase . But when he finaly decided to wake up ( the virgin man had to come and fix it) the top had all sold out . Gone forever.......

Im a top moment

At the moment im having a little top fetish. Blouses , vests , shirts anything as long as its brightly patterned. Im feeling particular love to these three ecspecially the top one. The deckchair print is so frickin cool- I can just picture a hot day on brighton beach ( well maybe not hot ) me in this top sitting on a deck chair and juts blending right in. It's like cameoflague ( can't spell) for the beach lovers , that or a top with pebbles on it.
I am also a bit bonkers for the bottom one too however that one is £65 which sadly i cant bring myself to pay.

Coats coats coats

In the end i didn't buy any of the coats i posted instead i did a sneaky little swap with my friend. She had a lovley Cream fur coat that i loved and i had a lace dress that she loved..... so we swaped. I love my fur coat and i personally think that she shouldnt have swapped it but .......... mmmmmwwwwahhhhhhhh ( evil laugh) its too late

Virgin media smells

I hate virgin media becuase our internet was down for ages because of them , So I'm sorry that is why I havn't posted in ages , But I'm back now . BLAME VIRGIN MEDIA.

frickin hell so many coats , but only allowed one ( for obvious reasons)

All are from topshop but which do i buy......
I've wanted the leopard collar one since august in either red or black ?????
Ive wanted a camel one for a year
I completley adore the silver furry one its like a rat coat( which is a good thing)

AND DONT GET ME STARTED on the colour block camel and black one. Ive seen the coat on a model on the topshop webiste and i have been waiting anxiously till it came out on the new in section ...... what to do what to do
( i sound so spoilt......)

These two charming head garments are so beautiful and are by lily lewis for topshop. I am completly in love with them and i really really really really really really WANT THEM ....... and they are not that expensive one is like £16 the other £18.... So anyhow i asked for them for christmas and my dad took one look at them and said "get a grip , there is no way i will let you walk outside with a bird on your head". CHARMING. Anyways if anyone wants to get me it feel free i do not mind which BUT PLEASE ....... xxxx i NEEEEEEDDDD THEM

Dress ( as it is so simple yet beautiful i will give it a simple yet beautiful tittle)

I tried this lovley dress on , on saturday when i went to covent garden. It may not look like very much but to me it is like a swirling pool of sparkly darkness ( ooh errr getting all poetic). It can be worn as a evening dress or as a causual dress with some boots a blouse and a parka jacket or my brown scruffy fur coat or a blazer ( preferably tweed). As you can see this dress is good for everything and this is why i think i should buy it ......

Ebay shoes ( why arnt they my size .... waaaa)

You can barley see these beauty's as the picture is all fuzzy. However they are so beautiful and amazing , hey have little gold elephants on the heel. I would totally buy them ... if they were in my size . However they are not .... they are a size 2 a far cry from my size 7-8 feet. This is what I hate about e bay , you find something you love but you cant buy it as it isn't in your size and unlike normal shops they have only one size per item

Adapted Top

The top that i adapted is the grey one on top. Firstly i cut the sleeves off then tied them back together again. As you can see at the bottom . Then i cut the bottom of the top off to make the ruff at the top. I made the ruff by cutting slits and sort of looping them together. These are all techniques i learnt in textiles and i loooooove them.
The leggings are from topshop - £10
Camel blouse is from zara in spain - 11 euros
White shirt is from miss slefidge - £18

Clothes Show live

Hello .... Today i ventured up to the northern colder city of birmingham to go to the clothes show live. It is apprently supposed to help us with our textiles coursework , but personally i dont really see how.  Firstly we were outrageously made to wear uniform so i just adapted mine ever so slighlty :L .Anyway being forgettful as always i forgot water and a camera so i couldnt take any photos of the actual show. But to be honest the outfits wern't THAT good , thye were nice and all but a bit tacky. But i guess it was good inspiration. I am so blatently going to use a wild west crossed with space theme for my final textiles outcome thanks to the inspiration that the show gave me :L. But don't get me wrong i loved it there , there were goodie bags around every corner that you turned and millions and million and trillions ... infact google (gasp) amount of stalls selling makeup , food , clothes , shoes , jewellry etc. It was amazing in that aspect. Plus loads of the small brands like motel and annie greeanble who's clothes are sold in places like asos and topshop for £40-£60 , were being sold there for £10-£30. I was quite proud of myself as i only brought £30 which was quite low compared to most people and ( it gets better....) i only spent £20.
I actually bought a burberry patterned dress from VintageMotel - its so chavy that it makes it classy ( if that works) and a top from YourEyesLie which is quite plain and grey with a big black dot on the front. It was only cheap so i thought i'd by it an adapt it , which i did as soon as i got home.
Overall i had a great day out and a day off school ( nice cheesy ending) and lived happily ever after...
Please excuse the hair ... it had been a long day

Outfit ....... leather :o ( frisky - well not really)

Leather skirt - H&M £10
Flowery Blouse- Mum's
Belt- from a friend
Socks- Mum's
erm .. is it good or bad i have recentley noticed a pattern in my outfits which happens to be the fact that i live in my mum's clothes. hmmmmm

Sunday, 5 December 2010

Firstly Sorry they are the wrong way round .... I'm writing this quickly while alexandra burke is singing on the results show.... ( i dislike her and jls should've won) anyhow , yes..... eer.
This is my outfit that i wore to the vintage fair in brighton.
At the moment im very keen on thigh high socks and have been practically living in them for the past week. I dont really like the black ones but i love the grey and white ones.
My dress is from Topshop and my cardigan is my mums.
My socks are from the one and only marks and spencer.
That day i actually bought a pair of joyful looking bananna yellow tapered trousers which i plan to wear with my leopard print coat. They are so cool , maybe even blinding.

Tweed Trousers ( we're gonna get married one day)

I frickin love these trousers - phrehaps a little too much .
I wore this outfit into town to do some christmas present "recomendations" to my mum.
Please excuse the "very beautiful" picture of me ... lets just say my mum isnt very good at capturing me in photo's at the time that i want her too.
TROUSERS!!!!!!!!!! are from Topshop
Blouse- Topshop ( but its actually a dress)
Brown waistcoat - Ebay
