House of Holland AW11

Usually i find Henry Hollands designs a bit tooo free and fun to the point where the start to look non high end. But i loved the aw11 collection with a feiry passion. As i was watching the show ( from my computer , sadly no i was not there :( ;( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa booooooooooooooooooohohoooooooooooooooooo) my heart started to beat faster and faster with excitment as each new model came round the corner i could barley contain myself. I am now a house of holland addcit. Im already startinjg to withdrawl symptons. I loved the colours and the lengths but most of all i love the differnt textures. The contrasting textures made the whole show work it just showed all the thought that had goen into it .
I also loved the suits. If i could wear a suit it would be one of his. They are just fun suits. Suits should no longer be thought of as corparite everyone should own a suit and wear. Infact i think i shall buy myself a suit now. It has inspired me to dress smarter and to also think about textures whilst dressing not just the colours and styles.

Micheal van der Ham AW11

The show was good but i don't feel blown away. Dont get me wrogn the dresses were stunning and the wedges were flattering but i feel like ive seen it all before. During the show i felt myself edging more and more towards the back button on the computer. Of course if i could i would defenitley buy one of the dresses as they are truly stunning but i felt that they could've acsessorzed them better . Im all for simpliclty but not literally. When you see true simplicity it takes you breath away. Im still breathing...
I also dont think that the collection fitted well together. Alll the peices were great but it felt like an unfinished jigsaw peice.

I did have a few favorites though , but they needed somthing more . They are beautiful missing the b

Meadham Kirchhoff AW11

I was very excited to see what wonders my favorite fashion house would put together , with the genius fashion programmed minds of Edward Meaham and Benjamin Kirchhoff who can do no wrong and belive me after i'd seen the show i was not disapointed. Although it was short it was memorable i can still feel it ringing in my head. Infact i think that the length helped make it memorable. The impact it had when all the models walked on together was amazing and the colours. It shouldn't have worked , but it did . It just felt right nothing was wrong . My favorite loooks are trhe five above. I love the coral and blue look as i love the way the colours melt into each other. My first favorite has to be the pinafore and trousers. It's classy , girly , boyish and trampish all in one. I feel confused looking at it but thats what i likes about it . I feel puzzled yet intreged and whats more theres a sense of mystery from the hat. I love meaham Kirchoff as it makes me feel poetic............
